Power failure has increased to a great extent in the past
many years in India. This has resulted in the increased demand for the UPS both
for the domestic as well as commercial purposes.
UPS is the abbreviated form of the Uninterruptible Power
Supply. Its two major components are the inverter and the battery. When it
comes to inverter supplied by lot of digital CFL inverter suppliers in
the market, they supply two types of inverters. First one is the square wave
inverter and the other type is the sine wave inverter. It is good decision to
go for the true sine wave inverters rather than the square wave inverters. This
is for the fact that the true sine wave inverters work really well with the
personal computers and other electronics without producing any kind of
undesired noise. On the contrary, the square wave models might damage the
equipments and decrease its life time too. In general, the inverter capacity
that is ideal for small homes with single bed rooms is 650VA. The system that
is quite popular in the most of the middle and upper-middle class homes is of
850VA capacity. The inverter of capacity 1450 VA is perfect for large homes
having three bedrooms.
Two types of battery come attached to home UPS India. These are tubular and semi-tubular battery. Semi-tubular battery, also called as the flat
plate battery, offers minimal maintenance but lasts only for a year. So it is
advised to opt for the tubular battery that is durable and lasts for about 8
years. The battery of the UPS system must be checked for the level of water in
the battery once in every month. If the level is low, then it must be filled
with only distilled water.
