Two Types of UPS Systems Commonly Used For Preventing Any Damage to Computer

A computer is somewhat that has become the part of our lives like other things. Most of the work is dependent of computer and if something happens to it, it might routine have an effect on our work.  UPS is used for the safety of the computer as well as other home appliances in a number of ways.

A standby model ensures that the device keeps running on the standard utility power and instantly switches on the power inverter that transforms DC power into AC power and switches off the power supply of the computer from the line to the battery of UPS.

On the other hand, a continuous UPS ensures that the computer is continuously powered with the battery and the battery is always being recharged. The battery charger produces DC power without any interruption, which gets converted into the 120-volt AC power by means of the inverter. In the event of power outage, the power is supplied by the battery to the inverter. As the name also indicates, there is no switch-over time in case of this model.
