Power failure is a huge problem faced by the populace of India. This problem rises at once during summers when a number of electronic appliances as well as cooling systems are used.  During peak summers, everyone requires a powerful cooling system that beats the outside heat. Air conditioners and air coolers are the two main cooling utilities that are used in every area regardless of home or commercial area. Such increased usage of electricity results in increased demand of power supply whereas; the power supply remains the same. Due to inadequate amount of power, load shedding is acquired by the power companies to distribute the power equally in various areas. During power failure, no work can be performed at home or in the office. As a solution, power inverters manufacturers came up with inverters that offer uninterrupted power supply.
Voltage fluctuation is another huge problem that results in damaging the appliances and electronic devices. Inverters provide a great way to supply the appliances with accurate power. This helps in proper and efficient working of appliances for a long time. With the advancement in technology, inverters are also equipped with advanced batteries and other powering mechanisms. There are number of inverters available in markets, such as sine wave home UPS and square wave inverters. Sine wave UPS are based on latest technology and developed under expert guidance.

Factsheet of Pure Sine Wave and Modified Sine Wave Inverter Systems

At some point or the other while you are in the market for purchasing an inverter or just searching for the same on the web, you would havbe come across the two common names- pure sine wave and the modified square wave inverters.
The square wave or the modified sine wave devices produces a square wave form. The buyers may face a lot of difficulties in running sensitive appliances such as magneto-optical hard drives, sewing machines with microprocessor control, hospital equipments and others. These models are generally shielded by standard fuses which, under normal situation, are not always quick enough; as a result they are considerably more at risk of failure.
As against the square wave model, the pure digital sinewave inverter is the excellent form of wave that is produced from an inverter and which can power any kind of appliance ranging from the simple light to most complicated ones like big machines and hospital equipments and that too in an extremely efficient manner without any disruption or overheating. One is able to run appliances with inductive loads, for example, motors and microwave ovens, smoothly with such device without any noise and excessive heat. What’s more, the chances of crashes in computers, glitches and noise in the monitors and unreadable print outs are minimized by this inverter.
According to your needs, you can choose the type that is ideal for you. When you go out in the market for buying a sine wave inverter, you will find them in a great number of sizes offered by host of digital inverters supplier. The size of the system that you go for is based on the power in watts of the device you need to power.

Actual Functions Performed By a Domestic Power Inverter

An inverter is a device that does the opposite of what a rectifier does, that is converts direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). The device that you use in the households does a lot more that this conversion.
When the AC power supply is coming, the batteries of the inverter get charged from the same power supply. The inverter also "forwards" the AC power supply directly to its output, during the time when the AC power supply is switched on. At the time of a power outage, this equipment automatically begins drawing the power from the charged batteries, and feeds "generated" AC power, to the all the devices that are attached to its output. For this reason, the attached devices run on the "seamless" electric power in an effective way. When the power is back, the inverter stops collect power from the batteries, begins the AC power "forward" task, and then the batteries again start getting charged by collecting power from the main supply.
The AC power supply that we obtain from the power grid at our homes is pure sine wave. However on account of the solid state appliances they use, the power inverters supplied by an inverter manufacturer naturally generate square wave AC.
In order to supply a nearly pure sine wave AC, in a domestic inverter, it must comprise of more complicated circuitry, therefore costs much more, about 25% more than the cost of an equivalent square wave model.
For normal lighting or heating devices, it does not matter whether you buy a square wave or sine wave system. In fact for incandescent bulbs and CFLs, just a CFL inverter is perfect. But for running the sophisticated appliances, you must buy the sine wave inverter.

Sine Wave UPS Offering Quality Power Supply for Sophisticate Devices

Power failure and voltage fluctuation are the two main problems usually faced by people. In case of improper power supply, almost every work stops and creates the issues of delayed working. Whether it is an office or a residential place, everything comes to a standstill during power supply. Any work can be accomplished on after the grid power supply starts again. At home a number of electric appliances are used to perform routine tasks in simple and comfortable manner. Washing machine and vacuum cleaner are the two examples of home appliances that help women in performing their household works. In kitchen also various cooking appliances are used to perform the task of cooking. These appliances can be used only in case of proper grid power supply. But during power failures, these appliances fail to perform the dedicated tasks. Home UPS is the one and only solution to all powering needs at home.
Initially, inverters and UPS were used for two different purposes. UPS were used for computers and inverters were used for power supply to electronic devices. With the increasing usage of computers in households, UPS and inverters are manufactured with certain technologies to work both ways. Sinewave UPS is one such example that serves the purpose of supplying power to every appliances regardless of its level of sophistication.

Working Mechanism of a Sine Wave Inverter to Change DC to AC

As everyone knows, inverter is equipment that converts the direct current power to the alternating current. Let us understand how an inverter works.
In its basic structure, an alternator comprises of a coil of wire and a rotating magnet fitted near to it. As one pole of magnet gets attracted to the coil, the current is produced and will reach to the highest level as the magnet comes closer to the coil and dies down when the magnet moves away from it. However when the other pole of the magnet moves towards the coil, the current produced by the coil will flow in the anti-clockwise direction.
A transformer leads to induction of electric current in a coil, but in this case, the transformed magnetic field is created by another coil having alternating current passing through it. The other coil in which current is flowing itself functions as a magnet because of which the magnetic field is produced.  Depending on the change in the direction of the current flowing, the polarity of the field also changes.
In a sine wave inverter, sinusoidal alternating current is produced. In simple words, sinusoidal current is that type of alternating current that is supplied by the local electricity grid system to our households. For this current, an oscillator is required. An amplifying transistor can act as an oscillator if the some of the resultant amplified power is supplied back to its input as positive feedback. The oscillator will produce low current power which will be amplified to produce the desired current output to operate several electronic appliances at homes or in commercial settings. You need to search for one of the reputed power inverters manufacturers to buy the right inverter for your use.

Types of Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems Based on Working Mechanism

The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) device offers extended protection against several power troubles. Basically, there are three types of UPS systems-Standby, On-line and Line-Interactive UPS Systems.
In the Standby sine wave UPS models, power is supplied by means of surge and noise control circuitry and then to your equipment. In the intervening time, a battery charger keeps an internal battery fully loaded and all set for use. When there is an outage, temporary reduction in electrical power or voltage fluctuation, the inverter converts battery output into a replicated sine wave output. When the electrical supply returns, the device itself switches back to the battery power and the battery is again topped off.
The same way as in the Standby systems, the power in the Line-Interactive systems is also provided through surge and noise suppression circuitry. Later on the integrated line conditioning circuitry monitors the irregular voltage levels to the normal levels, and supplies simulated power on to your apparatus, without exploiting the battery power. The internal battery remains fully charged by a battery charger. When the power goes off, inverter transforms the battery power to sine wave power and when the power is back, the inverter switches off and the battery is recharged.
In the On-Line models, the maximum level of power protection is ensured. The disrupted power is flawlessly rebuilt by the inverter that is "on-line" all the time. This implies that the transfer switching time is next to zero.
If the power outage in your area is very uncommon, then you can also get the mini CFL UPS for your home that ensures that the lights are on at your place when the power outage is there.
